Report: Thekla Receiving Interest From WWE & AEW Following STARDOM Exit

WWE and All Elite Wrestling could be set to enter a bidding war over a former STARDOM talent.

Thekla lost to Sayaka Kurara at STARDOM All-Star Grand Queendom on Sunday, April 27. Thekla refused to join Kouzen after the match and she promptly attacked STARDOM President Taro Okada, which led to Okada firing her. Thekla then announced in a post-show press conference that she was finished performing in Japan for the time being.

Fightful Select has reported that Thekla being done in Japan for the time being is legitimate and she has finished up with STARDOM. The belief is the Austrian talent is headed to the United States and there is interest in her from multiple American promotions, including WWE and AEW.

After performing on the indies and in Japan for Ice Ribbon, Thekla became a regular in STARDOM from 2021. She ends her time in STARDOM as a former Goddesses of STARDOM Champion and Artist of STARDOM Champion.
