Trey Miguel is already gone from All Elite Wrestling, having been released by the promotion just days after he put pen to paper on a multi-year contract.
Following a teaser on Dynamite Maximum Carnage, The Rascalz made their AEW debut on Saturday's episode of Collision, but Trey was not alongside Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz, and Myron Reed for the backstage segment. Miguel then announced on Sunday that he was taking a break from professional wrestling, writing on his Instagram Stories:
"Taking a break from wrestling. Please respect my space and don't tag me in any posts or comments. Go support the Rascalz still.."

Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp has reported that Miguel was released from his AEW deal in the past few days. All four members of The Rascalz signed with AEW after Miguel and Wentz's TNA contracts expired at the end of 2025 but Miguel was released by AEW just over a week after inking his contract with All Elite Wrestling.
AEW and Miguel are said to still be on amicable terms despite parting ways, according to Fightful.
Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Miguel's release "came from up above."
"No one's really saying much. Well, some people are saying certain things, but my understanding is whatever it is it came from up above. I know there’s a lot of rumours but it had nothing to do with anybody in AEW talent, anything like that, or Tony [Khan]. Something happened from way up and he was released. That is what we know at this point about Trey Miguel," Alvarez said.
Trey Miguel had been a full-time talent with TNA since 2018 until The Rascalz's exit at the end of 2025. Miguel even remained with TNA in 2020 after Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz both left the promotion for WWE.
