AEW Reportedly Introducing Women's TBS Championship

A new Title belt is on the way

All Elite Wrestling is reportedly planning on introducing a new Title, named the TBS Championship, as a secondary Title in the women's division.

Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast reported that there were 'rumblings' that AEW had plans to introduce a new championship for the women's roster to compete for, and more details have now emerged.

Speaking on Denise Salcedo’s “Speak Now Pro Wrestling” show after AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, Zarian said that the secondary Women's Title that is being introduced will be called the TBS Championship, making the strap a sister belt to the TNT Title currently held by Miro.

Both AEW Dynamite and AEW Rampage will be relocating to the TBS television network in early 2022 as a part of the promotion's expansion. TNT will continue to show AEW, presenting four, new annual specials from the company.

There have been no indications of when the TBS Championship will debut in AEW, although rumours also still persist around the company potentially introducing a Trios Tag Team Championship as well.
