AEW's Kenny Omega: "Ain't Gonna Be No Rematch"

The question of who is the better wrestler, Bryan Danielson or Kenny Omega? remains unresolved following Dynamite: Grand Slam, but The Best Bout Machine has poured cold water on hopes of a rematch. 

Danielson and Omega went one on one inside Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 22 in what many have called the best match in Dynamite history. Neither man could score the pinfall or submission inside the 30-minute time limit, though, and time expired as both men were striking each other in the centre of the ring.

Despite the inconclusive finish, Kenny Omega has channelled his inner Apollo Creed and proclaimed there "Ain't gonna be no rematch" on Twitter. 

If Omega's proclamation will remain true ultimately remains to be seen, but Apollo Creed, of course, had a rematch with Rocky Balboa in Rocky II after the World Heavyweight Champion became obsessed with proving Balboa's performance in the first Rocky movie was a fluke. Balboa would then win their second boxing match, while Creed would win their third bout at the end of Rocky III.
