Mercedes Moné Wins 9th Championship

Mercedes Moné was heading into Forbidden Door 2025 tomorrow night at the O2 Arena in London, England as “8-Belts Moné”, holding several titles from a range of different promotions from around the world. Fans can now scratch that moniker as she will head into her TBS Title match as “9-Belts Moné”, as she has picked up another prize. 

Last night, AEW’s star put her Undisputed British Women’s Championship on the line against Emersyn Jayne’s Discovery Wrestling Scottish Women’s Championship in a “Winner Takes All” bout at Revolution Pro Wrestling’s Global Wars UK show. After a back and forth contest, Moné locked in the Statement Maker to make Jayne submit, adding another piece of gold to her ever-rising collection of belts. 

Moné now reigns as the AEW TBS Champion, the current Owen Hart Tournament winner, CMLL World Women’s Champion, EWA Women’s Champion, PTW Women’s Champion, BestYa Women’s Champion, Undisputed British Women’s Champion, and now DW Scottish Women’s Champion. She will defend the TBS Title at Forbidden Door 2025 against the line-up of Alex Windsor, Persephone, and Bozilla, all representing different promotions.
