Since Triple H took control of WWE creative in the wake of Vince McMahon’s retirement, chatter has been rife about who could rejoin WWE, specifically who could jump ship from AEW.

A recent report suggested that some AEW talents were contacted by WWE to sound out the likelihood of jumping over to WWE, with the suggestion being that WWE knew full well that the talent(s) in question were under long term AEW deals.

Such a move would be a case of contract tampering, and during a recent talent meeting ahead of the August 24 edition of AEW: Dynamite, AEW President Tony Khan revealed to talent that AEW’s legal team headed up by Chief Legal Officer Megha Parekh sent a message/email to WWE joint CEO’s Nick Khan and Stephanie McMahon warning them not to ‘tamper’ with contracted performers.

Whilst no names were mentioned as to who WWE may have approached with regards to their contract situation, speculation has been rife online, especially as several notable ‘Triple H guys’ are currently signed to AEW.
