AEW Revamps Full Gear Logo & Look

AEW Full Gear has a brand new look

Despite Grand Slam III and WrestleDream on the horizon, All Elite Wrestling have started paving the road to Full Gear 2023, with the upcoming fifth annual year ending PPV set for November 18.

The event is set to be held in Los Angeles’ KIA Forum, former home of the LA Lakers NBA team. Seemingly to reflect the building’s legacy, AEW have rebranded Full Gear, with the steampunk gears and harsh copper and brown colours gone, replaced by the gold and purple of the Lakers, with the new Full Gear font reminiscent of the MAX show 'Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty'.

The reveal was made on Twitter/X during the September 6 edition of AEW Dynamite, with tickets set to go on sale on Friday, September 8.

The question is, with Dennis Rodman returning to pro wrestling for All Out in Chicago, is there a chance we could see former Laker Shaquille O’Neal return to an AEW ring? Or even legendary Laker and one-time on-screen opponent of Bruce Lee Kareem Abdul-Jabbar?
