Report: Thunder Rosa Could Make AEW Return 'Almost Any Time’
Thunder Rosa believed to be extremely close to AEW return
It’s been 13 months since Thunder Rosa last competed in an All Elite Wrestling ring, with the former AEW Women’s World Champion absent from in-ring competition since August 2022 due to a back injury.
Rosa has been back on the road with AEW for several months as part of their Spanish language broadcast team, but updates on a potential in-ring return have been vague at best. A new update from Fightful Select suggests that Thunder Rosa could return to in-ring competition at almost ‘any time’, with it suggested that creative plans would need to be in place before any return materialised.
Despite being on the injured list, Rosa did make an on-screen appearance on Dynamite earlier this Summer, teasing an appearance on Collision ahead of its debut on June 17, but since then we’ve seen nothing of her on screen.
Rosa remains on the road, having travelled with AEW for All In in London on August 27, as well as for All Out and Starrcast on Labor Day weekend.
