AEW Reveals Rampage Announce Team

Ahead of its premier episode next Friday, AEW have revealed the full announce team for upcoming second show AEW: Rampage.

Excalibur will take lead announce duties, and will be joined by his AEW Dark broadcast colleague Taz, as well as Le Champion Chris Jericho, and The World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry.

Henry was originally announced as an ‘analyst’ during his debut at AEW Double or Nothing in May. As to whether his place on the announce team will be in an analytical commentary role, or if he will be positioned elsewhere has yet to be confirmed.

Jericho’s inclusion in the team comes as little surprise, with the Demo God having commentated on AEW: Dynamite on numerous occasions over the past year.

Rampage will air live on it’s debut edition, but is slated to be pre-recorded most weeks, save for special editions. It is understood PPV ‘go-home’ editions of Rampage will air live, as will the ‘First Dance’ edition on August 20, airing live from Chicago’s United Center.
