AEW Revolution Set For March 3 2024
AEW Revolution will take place on March 3 2024
The first of All Elite Wrestling’s traditional ‘big four’ pay per views has been officially confirmed, with Revolution 2024 set for Greensboro, North Carolina on March 3 2024.
The fifth ever Revolution will see Sting wrestle his last ever match, with ‘The Icon’ fittingly announcing details of the event, alongside old rival Ric Flair, and Tony Schiavone on the November 29 edition of AEW Dynamite.
AEW posted the following on X/Twitter following the announcement:
“1988 Ric Flair vs. Sting. 2024 Sting has his final match @RicFlairNatrBoy & @Sting talk straight from the heart as on Sunday, March 3rd #AEWRevolution 2024 will be LIVE on PPV in Greensboro, NC at the @Gbocoliseum! Watch #AEWDynamite LIVE on TBS!”
Sting and Flair memorably wrestled a classic in Greensboro at the first ever Clash of the Champions in 1988, with Sting earning a time limit draw with NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair, the match putting ‘The Stinger’ firmly on the map.
It’s not been announced who Sting will face at Revolution, and so far no other matches have been confirmed for the event.
