AEW's Anthony Bowens On The Shelf With Knee Injury

Max Caster will fight on alone for the time being

The Acclaimed haven't stepped inside the squared circle together since they were defeated by Chris Jericho and MJF on the February 10 episode of Dynamite.

Tony Khan revealed on the AEW Unrestricted podcast this is because Anthony Bowens is currently on the shelf with a knee injury. The AEW president didn't say how long Bowens would be out of action for.

In The 5-Tool Player's absence, Max Caster has wrestled in singles matches and he defeated Dark Order's 10 on Dynamite to earn a spot in the Face Of The Revolution Ladder match on Sunday. He will compete against Cody Rhodes, Penta El Zero M, Lance Archer, Scorpio Sky and a mystery participant for the right to challenge Darby Allin for the TNT Title on March 10.

Bowens made his AEW debut back in September 2020 and he and Max Caster were signed by the company a couple of months later. The tag team have regularly wrestled on Dynamite and Dark since they signed on the dotted line and they unsuccessfully challenged for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at Holiday Bash.
