AEW's Anthony Ogogo Appears At PROGRESS Chapter 127

Ogogo debuts in PROGRESS

An All Elite Wrestling talent was in action at PROGRESS Wrestling's Chapter 127 show from the Electric Ballroom in London, England on Sunday.

While not advertised for the event, Anthony Ogogo made his PROGRESS debut on the show and went one-on-one with Hari Singh.

The Olympic bronze medallist ultimately won the match after six minutes with his Tower Of London finisher.

Sunday's match was just the 12th of Ogogo's career. He has been an AEW talent since 2019 and he returned to the promotion in December 2021 after six months on the shelf due to his 10th eye surgery.

In a press release, PROGRESS touted that Ogogo was the first AEW talent to wrestle in the United Kingdom.

Ogogo's appearance also creates an interesting situation where an AEW talent could appear on the WWE Network when Chapter 127 is added to the streaming platform and Peacock in February.

Chris Jericho has appeared on the WWE Network as a contracted AEW talent before on an episode of Broken Skull Sessions.
