The Wrld On GCW Results

A major event in independent wrestling history took place on Sunday, January 23 as Game Changer Wrestling filled New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom for The Wrld On GCW.

Airing as a traditional three-hour pay-per-view, several unannounced stars appeared on the show, including Thunder Rosa and Sabu. Several more then appeared during Matt Cardona and Joey Janela's interference-laden match with Brian Myers, Virgil, Hornswoggle, Marko Stunt, Sean Waltman and "Smart" Mark Sterling all getting involved during and after the match.

Several big matches also took place on the show, including a GCW World Title match between champion Jon Moxley and Homicide, Jeff Jarrett vs. EFFY, and The Briscoes open challenge. An ROH World Title match was also scheduled for the show but champion Jonathan Gresham was absent from the pay-per-view, with Lio Rush replacing him to face Blake Christian.
