Reports have emerged that AEW’s Brian Pillman Jr. is currently out of action after suffering a concussion.

Per a report from Wrestling Inc., Pillman Jr. was due to wrestle for Warrior Wrestling over the weekend, but was pulled from the event due to his condition, with indie wrestler Davey Bang filling in for Pillman against former ROH star Silas Young.

Pillman Jr. last wrestled on the January 19 edition of AEW: Dynamite, when he and Varsity Blonds partner Griff Garrison lost to the debuting Kings of the Black Throne Malakai Black and Brody King in tag-team action. However, it’s not obvious when in the match Pillman Jr. could have gotten the concussion.

After debuting for AEW in 2019, Brian Pillman Jr. has been a staple of the company, officially signing an AEW contract in July 2021 after the expiration of his MLW contract. He and Griff Garrison last wrestled for Warrior Wrestling in July 2021, defeating the team of Richard Holliday and Victor Benjamin.
