Danielson departed WWE in April

Bryan Danielson has revealed his All Elite Wrestling deal will permit him to wrestle in NJPW and around the world in other promotions, admitting that WWE were also going to let him do that if he re-signed with them.
Danielson departed WWE in April of this year and resurfaced in early September, penning a three-year contract with AEW.
A huge aspect of Danielson's motives were reportedly a desire to work with new talent around the world, including in Japan with NJPW. The American Dragon has now confirmed his AEW deal gives him that option, with the company's permission, but says WWE were willing to offer him the same thing.
Speaking on Ariel Helwani's MMA Hour, when asked if his AEW deal would allow him to work in NJPW, Danielson said: "Obviously, I have to clear it through AEW at first, they have to be my priority. Even going to Japan right now is hard with COVID and that stuff.
"I'm able to do that. To be fair, WWE was going to let me do that as well. With the contract they offered me and when I was talking to them, it was one of my big things of, I want to be able to go and wrestle these guys all over the world and they were going to allow me to do that."
