Despite showing no signs of slowing down, and kicking heads in like his Ring of Honor prime, Bryan Danielson says his role in wrestling now is to ‘give back’ to the industry.

Danielson said as much during an appearance on Casual Conversations with the Classic, saying AEW is the perfect place for him to fulfil his ‘new role’:

“Wrestling’s given me so much. And there’s also this idea, and I had talked to a couple different people that I normally don’t talk to about this kind of stuff. But just like, where could I best be of service? Like now my idea of wrestling and my job in wrestling is mostly to give back, right, and also from like, and that’s not just a wrestling perspective. In my community and all that kind of stuff, I’ve been so blessed and everything like that. Eddie Kingston and I were talking about this. Like now you know, we’ve both been very fortunate and whatever,” Danielson explained, “and now it’s our turn to give back and where could I best be of service? And just in talking to some people that I really respect and getting their feedback and everything, one of the things I thought too is, I could be of best service in AEW and doing some outside things.”
