AEW's Jon Moxley To Use 'X' Version Of Wild Thing Going Forward

The same version as Onita

While Jon Moxley had used 'Unscripted Violence' as his entrance music since joining All Elite Wrestling, the former AEW World Champion made his way to the ring to 'Wild Thing' by The Troggs for his match against Yuji Nagata last week.

The Troggs popularised the song in 1966, but their version won't be the one used by Moxley going forward.

Tony Khan revealed on Busted Open Radio that he purchased the rights to the "Major League version" and Moxley made his entrance to that song on last night's Dynamite.

"He did not know I had Wild Thing. I got the Major League version. It's cool and important, the Nagata match is something we'll always remember with Troggs, the classic version, it was perfect for that night. Jon didn't know it was coming and the adrenaline coming in, he didn't think about it much," Khan said.

The version of Wild Thing in Major League was recorded by punk rock band X. Japanese deathmatch wrestling legend Atsushi Onita famously uses the song when making his own entrances.
