AEW's Kenny Omega Being Medically Evaluated Today

After losing the AEW World Championship to Adam Page at last weekend’s Full Gear pay-per-view, it was revealed that Kenny Omega has been working hurt for some time, with an aggravated shoulder, as well as working with vertigo since 2018.

Now, per a report from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Omega will be undergoing a medical evaluation (Wednesday November 17) with the former Champ wanting see out his storyline with Page before getting checked out.

Meltzer also reported that after the evaluation, it will be decided if Kenny Omega will take a break from wrestling, presumably once he’s wrestled Hijo Del Vikingo at AAA TripleMania Regia on December 4.

Omega has certainly had a busy 2021, wrestling 32 times this year across AEW, AAA, and IMPACT Wrestling. This year alone he has held four title belts, all at the same time, having reigned as AEW World Champion, AAA Mega Champion, IMPACT World Champion, and TNA World Heavyweight Champion during his high profile ‘belt collector’ run.
