AEW's Kyle O'Reilly: It's In My Best Interest To Stay Near Adam Cole

From Future Shock to Undisputed ERA to being bitter rivals, Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly have been tied together throughout their careers. 

They were briefly apart in 2021 when Adam Cole jumped to All Elite Wrestling and O'Reilly remained in NXT but they soon linked up again, with the ReDRagon man debuting on Dynamite in December. 

Speaking about his connection to Cole on The Zaslow Show, O'Reilly joked it's in his best interest to stay close to the former NXT Champion.

"Yeah, well, you know, we're pretty close and so we've always been really open with each other and [when talking about] certain life-changing decisions such as this, we were definitely open with each other. It would definitely be in my best interest [to stay near Adam] because I've had the most success in my career with Adam Cole," O'Reilly said.

"I feel like I've become who I am because of Adam Cole and being around him and him helping bring me to that next level and me helping him come to another level as well. Like we've just sort of always been there for each other and help each other to sort of break through and man, I would definitely just go wherever the guy's going, and do what I can to stay near him."
