Lance Storm Criticises WWE NXT's Duke Hudson's "Not Safe" Razor's Edge

A rough landing was experienced by Dante Chen

Like Ethan Page, Sheamus, and others, NXT's Duke Hudson has adopted the Razor's Edge as his finishing move in WWE.

The 32-year-old hit Dante Chen with a particularly brutal Razor's Edge on last week's edition of NXT, though, which caused the development talent's head to bounce off the mat.

The move drew criticism from well-regarded coach and IMPACT Wrestling producer Lance Storm, who replied to a tweet of the Razor's Edge with: "Say hello to a concussion. This is not a safe move."

Wrestling Inc. noted the tweet was liked by several current and former talents, including Edge, Mick Foley, Happy Corbin, James, Storm, Deonna Purrazzo, Trent Beretta, Brian Pillman Jr., Aron Stevens.

Big Swole also found fault with the Razor's Edge, writing: "As soon as I saw him up I said hell no."

Hudson has been a featured performer on NXT since the brand was relaunched in September of 2021. He previously feuded with Cameron Grimes and their rivalry ended after he had his head shaved at NXT WarGames. The 32-year-old is now involved in a programme with Persia Pirotta.
