Liv Morgan WWE Return Update

Liv Morgan has been absent from WWE programming ever since an injury occurred in a match with Kairi Sane that saw her require shoulder surgery. At the time, it was noted that her injury was believed to be a “worst case scenario”, leading to her giving up the WWE Women’s World Tag Titles, and forcing WWE to change plans ahead of the Evolution 2025 PLE. 

Morgan underwent surgery back in late June, and we now have another update on her recovery. PWInsider have reported that Morgan is set for a new medical evaluation this week to see how things have progressed since surgery on her separated shoulder. It is noted that many expected her to be backstage at TV for Monday Night RAW this past week to undergo this evaluation, but that didn’t end up happening. 

When it comes to Morgan’s eventual return to WWE programming, PWInsider notes that the internal hope in WWE is for Morgan to return to in-ring action at the beginning of 2026, meaning that she will be in the mix for WrestleMania 42 next year.
