Sami Callihan’s in-ring professional wrestling career may be done for good, as he lost a match at TNA Emergence 2025 last night in which he promised to retire from in-ring action if he came up short. Callihan was defeated by Mike Santana in a Baltimore Street Fight, and ultimately left his boots in the ring after the bell, before heading to the back.

Taking to social media after the match, Callihan stated the following, signalling that his career had in fact come to an end.

“Everything good in my life is because of wrestling. It was a pleasure. On to the next chapter.”

The 37 year old has competed across the wrestling world in the likes of WWE, TNA, CZW, MLW, GCW, Lucha Underground, PWG, NWA, among many other companies since beginning his career 20 years ago in 2005. His most notable achievement came when he won the IMPACT World Championship in 2019 when he defeated Brian Cage in a Steel Cage match. Away from his in-ring work, Callihan works as a promoter for his company, The Wrestling Revolver, so he will remain busy now that he isn’t competing.
