AEW's Matt Hardy: Jeff Hardy Is "Super Stressless" Following WWE Departure

Hardy Boyz reunion draws closer

His WWE release has seemingly been beneficial for Jeff Hardy.

The Charismatic Enigma displayed abnormal behaviour during a WWE house show match in December where he was sluggish in the ring and then headed backstage through the crowd while the match was ongoing. WWE subsequently sent Hardy home and they released Jeff after he refused to go to rehab.

It has since been confirmed by Matt Hardy that Jeff passed his drug test and WWE tried to re-sign the former World Heavyweight Champion, offering him a spot in the 2022 Hall Of Fame class as an incentive to come back, but Jeff declined.

Speaking about his brother on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, the former Broken One revealed Jeff has been "super stressless" since he was let go by WWE.

"One thing I can say for Jeff is that he has been super positive and super stressless since he's been gone from the WWE. We have about 10 bookings as the Hardy Boyz lined up all together. Some autograph signings, some matches," Matt said.

Jeff is set to return to independent wrestling in the coming weeks and The Hardy Boyz will reunite at Big Time Wrestling's March 12 event from Webster, Massachusetts.
