AEW's RUSH Has Quit AAA

RUSH and his father have left AAA

RUSH has been working in AAA off and on since 2019, making his debut in the promotion just prior to the pandemic hitting. Following a long break he made a return at the back end of 2022, competing in AAA up until April of this year.

RUSH was set to compete at this year’s TripleMania event in a major tag match in which he was paired with LA Park to take on Sam Adonis & Psycho Clown, in which the losing duo would battle in a hair vs. mask match. However, this highly anticipated match will no longer be taking place as RUSH has announced on his Facebook account that both he and his father would be quitting and leaving AAA imminently, stating that they are “totally independent”.

As of now, it isn’t clear why this situation has taken place, as his Facebook statement only included fairly vague language when it comes to promoters and ‘clowns’. RUSH has been under AEW contract since last year, and continues to compete regularly in both AEW and ROH.
