Report: AEW To Stop House Rules Live Events?

AEW's House Rules shows could be coming to an end

AEW’s schedule of live events has seen an upturn in the last couple of months, with the company hosting four ‘House Rules’ live events since the start of May. However, as fun as these shows have been for those in attendance and the positives it likely provides for the roster in terms of reduced pressure and more in-ring time, there are currently no more House Rules shows officially scheduled.

In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer speculated that with the impending arrival of the brand-new Collision show on June 17, then it would become more awkward and pointless for AEW to try and squeeze these events into the schedule.

“AEW ran what may be its last house shows for a long time over the weekend. With them adding Collision, I don’t see house shows likely and there aren’t any more left on the schedule.”

It remains to be seen though if Meltzer’s beliefs are correct and whether the House Rules shows will be going on an extended hiatus.
