AEW's Tony Khan Teases More About His "Massive" Announcement
Khan has been teasing this announcement for the past week
Before this week’s edition of AEW: Dynamite, AEW President Tony Khan once again teased his upcoming 'massive announcement'.
Khan gave no details of what he has been working on, but told Tony Schiavone "I promise you something big is coming. It's not like 'The First Dance' where I can put a date, time and place on it and say I know exactly when. But it is like the 'The First Dance' that I know something big and important is coming to AEW and I am very excited about it.”
Khan revealed that his legal team have him on NDAs so he can’t disclose specifics, but said stay tuned as more information will come soon.
Speculation online has built and built as to what the nature of Khan’s announcement could be. The loudest theories state that there could be some sort of AEW/NJPW super-show on the way, whilst everything from an AEW streaming service to Khan outright buying Ring of Honor have also gained traction online.
Again, these are just rumours and theories at this point, and like Khan said, we’ll just have to wait and see.
