AEW To Launch Video Game Franchise If Fight Forever Performs Well

There is a lot riding on AEW Fight Forever

Fans will have to buy AEW Fight Forever if they want more video games from All Elite Wrestling.

All Elite Wrestling's first-ever video game - AEW Fight Forever - is scheduled to be released on Thursday, June 29 and there is a lot riding on the title, with Fight Forever having been in development since the summer of 2020 at YUKE'S. The game will be published by THQ Nordic.

AEW Senior Vice President of Business Development Nik Sobic spoke to SEScoops ahead of Fight Forever's release and he revealed that AEW will launch a video game franchise if Fight Forever sells well.

"I've worked at AEW and known Tony Khan for the last 10 years. I can pretty much tell you he is one of the most generous people I've ever met. I can tell you if this video game does well, we're going to take those dollars and put that into an AEW video game franchise. Fans speak with their wallets," Sobic said.

AEW Fight Forever will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC upon release on June 29. We will publish our full review of AEW Fight Forever on Cultaholic.com and the Cultaholic Wrestling YouTube channel on Wednesday, June 28 at 2 pm BST.
