AEW World Title Match Set For June 11 AEW Dynamite

Kenny Omega's next title defence has been confirmed

Kenny Omega will put his AEW World Championship on the line in two weeks when he defends against the Casino Battle Royal winner, Jungle Boy.

Jungle Boy last eliminated Christian Cage to win the Casino Battle Royal at AEW Double Or Nothing, while Omega defeated PAC and Orange Cassidy in a Triple Threat match to retain his AEW World Title. 

The promotion have now confirmed that the duo will meet in a World Title match in two weeks. While a specific date has not been given, AEW has been presenting Dynamite on Fridays during the NHL play-offs, and the TNT schedule lists Dynamite as airing on Friday, June 11 at 10 pm ET.

This coming week's post-Double Or Nothing Dynamite will also air on Friday and a number of big matches have been confirmed. 

AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks will face PAC & Penta El Zero M, while Dustin Rhodes will take on Nick Comoroto in a bullrope match. Cody Rhodes teams with Lee Johnson against QT Marshall and Anthony Ogogo. 

Also announced is a Championship Celebration for new AEW Women's champion Britt Baker, while fans will hear from Mark Henry for the first time since he signed with All Elite Wrestling.
