AEW Wrestler Wants Women's Tag Team Titles

AEW wrestler has pushed for the creation of a women's tag division

AEW’s women’s division is often at the centre of criticism from many, and Tony Khan made an attempt to give the division more with the introduction of the TBS Championship, which has been held for well over 450 days by the undefeated Jade Cargill. One AEW wrestler doesn’t want the company to stop there though when it comes to prizes for the women on the roster.

Leila Grey of The Baddies spoke to MuscleManMalcolm and was asked about a potential introduction of an AEW women’s tag team division in the future.

"100%. Leila Grey and Jade Cargill, we are the tag team champions of the future. Tony Khan, make it happen.”

Although AEW’s women division only gets one or two segments per week, there are several teams and allies already in existence on the roster to make up a division. These include The Baddies (Jade Cargill & Leila Grey), Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter, The Outcasts (Saraya, Toni Storm, & Ruby Soho), Skye Blue & Madison Rayne, The Bunny & Penelope Ford, TayJay (Tay Melo & Anna Jay), and more.
