AJ Styles Recalls Exchanging Gifts With The Undertaker Following WWE WrestleMania 36 Boneyard Match

The bout would turn out to be Undertaker's last match

AJ Styles has revealed The Undertaker sent him a letter and a pair of signed gloves following their Boneyard Match at WWE WrestleMania 36.

The duo, originally meant to meet in the ring at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, instead took their match to the cinematic boneyard setting instead due to the COVID-19 Pandemic in what would transpire to be The Undertaker's final match.

The Deadman would officially retire at Survivor Series 2020 and Styles has now revealed, in the aftermath of their bout at WrestleMania 36, he wanted to send The Undertaker a gift.

Having spoken with 'Taker's wife, former WWE superstar Michelle McCool, he sent him a pair of signed gloves and was delighted to receive a pair back, along with a letter of gratitude.

Speaking to Ryan Satin on the Out Of Character Podcast, Styles said: "I called his wife [former WWE Superstar Michelle McCool] and I was like, ‘Hey, what does he want? Because I need to get him something'.

"She was just like, ‘Hey, well, give him your gloves. That would mean a lot to him if you signed a glove.’ I was like, ‘Alright.’

"Michelle hooked me up. Hopefully that was a gift that he enjoyed. He actually sent his gloves to me with a very nice thank you letter, which meant the world to me."
