AJ Styles Suffers Injury At WWE House Show

AJ Styles picks up an injury

AJ Styles could be set for a stint out of action.

The two-time WWE Champion suffered an injury during WWE's house show from Hershey, Pennsylvania on Thursday, December 29. Styles was teaming with his OC stablemates Karl Anderson and Mia Yim against Judgment Day's Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley at the show but the match was stopped early after the 45-year-old sustained an injury to his left leg.

The injury occurred after Styles hit a spot from over the top rope to the outside. The Phenomenal One immediately grabbed his lower leg/ankle area before the referee threw up the 'X' to end the match early. Styles then had to be helped backstage by Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

No further details are known about Styles' injury at the time of writing. The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion has remained a featured performer in WWE throughout 2022 and he has spent the past several months feuding with Judgment Day. Styles recently picked up his first pay-per-view win since October 2019 after defeating Finn Balor at Survivor Series WarGames.
