Alex Riley Returning To Pro Wrestling

Alex Riley coming back

A former WWE talent is coming out of retirement.

Alex Riley has not competed in a professional wrestling ring since his WWE release in May 2016 but he is now set to make an in-ring return next month.

It was announced that Riley will come out of retirement on December 8 at Create A Pro Wrestling's Holiday Toy Drive 2022 in Lynbrook, New York. Fans have to donate two wrestling toys to enter the show. Riley will team with NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Tyrus against Jack Tomlinson and Dante Drago of VBU.

Riley's match could lead to a wider in-ring return as Fightful Select reported the 41-year-old told people he wants to have another go at professional wrestling. Riley has been training for an in-ring return and Tyrus was influential, sending him to Create A Pro's academy.

Riley signed with WWE in 2007 and his most prominent run came in the early 2010s when he was aligned with The Miz, including for The A-Lister's WrestleMania 27 main event against John Cena.
