Mandy Rose Open To WWE Match With Nikki Bella

Current NXT Women's Champion Mandy Rose has claimed that there is a 'story there' between her and WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella. 

On the November 15 episode of NXT, Rose wore a backwards baseball cap and red and black gear, drawing comparisons to Nikki, who sported a similar look. 

During a recent appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Mandy spoke about the gear choice and noted that she knew the comparisons to Bella were inevitable, saying:

"Can't even wear my own merch hat and it's a big thing. I had the little outfit on backstage, we were all saying it. 'Do I look way too much like Nikki? I'm definitely going to get ripped on the internet'. Everyone is like, 'Yeah, but who cares? You're owning to her legacy, right?'. 'Yeah, why not'. And that's what happened. We knew the internet was going to go there".

With regards to a potential match with the former WWE Women's Champion, the Toxic Attraction member said: 

"She did say she wants one more match. Her legacy, and everything I've done, we have similar backgrounds because she obviously paved the way for us, definitely during the Diva's time and the women's revolution. I feel there is some kind of similarity with the both of us because she was always one to want to have people respect her more, and she did gain that respect over the years. In the beginning, it maybe wasn't so much like that. There is a story there".

Nikki last competed as a surprise entrant in the 2022 Women's Royal Rumble match (where she was eliminated by sister Brie). Prior to that, her last outing was a Raw Women's Title match loss to Ronda Rousey at a live event in Italy on November 10, 2018.
