Alexa Bliss Has Rubbished Reports That She Is On A Hiatus From WWE
Over the last year or so, Alexa Bliss’ WWE career has been a bumpy one, with her often going for months on end without factoring on Raw or SmackDown. Over the last week, reports have surfaced that Bliss is on a hiatus.
The likes of Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Bliss was on a hiatus, but Bliss herself has been quick to reject these reports. She tweeted; “Tired of seeing these tweets. I am not on a hiatus. They know where to find me.”
Whether this is more of an in-kayfabe response or genuine frustration at both rumours and the fact that she isn’t being used on television is unclear. She would later tweet, “also need to remember - you only see what parts of life I want you to see.”
Bliss was most recently involved in a storyline with Uncle Howdy and Bray Wyatt, with it seemingly more and more likely that she would turn back to the dark side and align with Wyatt. Bliss’ last match came at the Royal Rumble 2023 PPV, in a losing effort to Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship.
