Dragon Lee Makes NXT In-Ring Debut

Dragon Lee Made His In-Ring Debut For WWE NXT At A Live Event

After nearly three months since he signed with WWE, Dragon Lee has finally made his in-ring debut in NXT. It came in quite an understated manner though, because instead of a major match on TV or a special event like Stand & Deliver, he made his debut on a live event.

On March 11 in an NXT event from St Petersburg, Florida, he wrestled Karl Fredericks (now known as Eddy Thorpe). Apparent visa issues had gotten in the way of his NXT debut, but he finally made his first on-screen appearance at NXT’s Roadblock TV special, sitting in the crowd.

It was previously suspected that Lee would be the man to face Grayson Waller at the upcoming Stand & Deliver event, but it was instead announced that Johnny Gargano would be making his return to NXT to fight on the behalf of Shawn Michaels instead. Lee is an acclaimed performer, competing around the world in promotions such as CMLL, ROH, AAA, NJPW, and even AEW, before finally landing in WWE, where he looks to continue his success.
