Alexander Wolfe Announced For wXw's 20th Anniversary Show

Wolfe departed WWE in May

The former Alexander Wolfe has been announced for wXw Germany's 20th anniversary show.

Wolfe - now going by the name Axel "The Axeman" Tischer - was released by WWE in May amid a series of budget cuts across the entire roster, including NXT.

WXW have confirmed they will be holding their 20th anniversary show on August 7 and the promotion have announced that Tischer will be involved at the event at the Congress Centrum Oberhausen.

A vignette posted to social media show's Tischer tying up his boots and training for his upcoming return to the promotion. Tischer himself has taken to Twitter to share his excitement at being involved in the show, writing: "New chapter starts august 7th @wXwGermany 's 20th anniversary show. Let's f**king go!"

Tischer last wrestled in wXW in March 2020 but hasn't been a regular for the German promotion since 2015, prior to when he initially signed for WWE.

WXW will welcome up to 700 fans to the event next month for their biggest show since 16 Carat Gold 2021.
