Jan 21, 2025
Allie Katch has undergone surgery to repair her broken leg. Katch underwent surgery on the morning of Monday, January 20 only hours after she sustained the injury.
Katch has since posted on X/Twitter:
"I still don't have many answers but after surgery today I was walking on crutches, putting on my own pants and getting to use the bathroom by myself! I am still floored by the support and love and will try to update and get back to everyone. My gratitude is ENDLESS!!!"
Katch suffered the injury during her match with Effy at The People vs. GCW from the Hammerstein Ballroom on Sunday night. Katch broke her leg following an awkward landing on a suicide dive, with her leg being twisted horribly following the move. This resulted in two broken bones in her leg.
The match was to determine who would challenge Mance Warner for the GCW World Title in the main event of The People vs. GCW. Effy would go on to win the championship.
A GoFundMe was launched following Katch's injury to help her pay for medical bills and cover loss of income while she recuperates. Over $45,000 has already been raised.
