Andrade El Idolo Expected To Join WWE Once AEW Contract Expires

Those in WWE are expecting Andrade to make a comeback

There have been various rumours when it comes to the status of Andrade El Idolo’s future with AEW, with many signs pointing towards the fact that he will not only be leaving AEW in 2024, but rejoining WWE also.

A report by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has indicated that the belief in WWE is that he is expected to rejoin the company later on in the year when his AEW contract expires. It must be said though that these same sources also believe that if Tony Khan offers him a better deal, he is still open to remaining in AEW and signing a new deal.

Andrade has been teasing his contract expiration for 2024, and hasn’t been quiet about unhappiness in his AEW booking at times. He recently competed in the first Continental Classic tournament, and is set to face Miro at tonight’s AEW Worlds End PPV, with their feud developing due to Miro’s wife CJ Perry becoming the new manager for Andrade in recent months.
