Andrade El Idolo Injured

Andrade has been out of action for several weeks

AEW’s current injury crisis just seems to get worse and worse, as it has now been revealed that Andrade El Idolo is also dealing with injury.

Andrade featured on the July 15 edition of AEW Rampage, accompanying Private Party for their match against The Lucha Brothers, but Tony Khan had earlier revealed that the former NXT Champion was currently out of action:

“He’ll be ringside for Private Party vs Lucha Bros on #AEWRampage on @TNTdrama tonight, he’s been hurt since the classic vs @ReyFenixMx 3 weeks ago. He got @IsiahKassidy & @Marq_Quen to help him tonight, & Lucha Bros both still want a piece of @AndradeElIdolo & @rushtoroblanco too,” Tweeted Khan.

Andrade himself gave an update on his condition on Twitter, noting that he will back in a few weeks, and that he is dealing with an inflammation of the ankle, which Andrade said was ‘nothing serious’ and a result of being in the business for over 20 years.

Good news for AEW then, who are still without the likes of Bryan Danielson, Kenny Omega, Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and several others.
