Since departing WWE, Andrade has been busy.
The 31-year-old has been booked for a number of matches throughout 2021 and it now appears the former United States champion's first bout since leaving WWE has been confirmed.
Lucha Libre 'La Batalla' has confirmed that Andrade will step into the ring to face El Hijo Del Santo on June 12 in Anaheim, California. In facing the legendary 57-year-old, Andrade will wrestle for the first time since facing Angel Garza in October 2020 on WWE Monday Night Raw.
Andrade was released from his WWE contract on March 21, 2021, having publicly confirmed he had requested his departure from the company a week later.
The former NXT Champion is also scheduled to team with RUSH, Bestia Del Ring, and a surprise partner against Matt Taven, PJ Black, and two surprise partners at Federacion Wrestling's debut on June 19.
He will also wrestle the former Alberto Del Rio on July 31, before challenging Kenny Omega for the AAA Mega Championship at Triplemania XXIX on August 14.
