Anna Jay Turns Heel At AEW Fyter Fest Week Two

Anna Jay reunites with Tay Conti in AEW too

A big heel turn took place on Wednesday's edition of AEW Dynamite from Duluth, Georgia.

Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston faced off in a Barbed Wire Everywhere Death Match in the main event and the Jericho Appreciation Society were suspended above the ring in a shark cage during the contest. As the match continued, though, Tay Conti attacked Ruby Soho, who was in possession of the shark cage key.

This caused Anna Jay to make her way to ringside and she initially dragged Conti off Soho but the Dark Order member then decided to level Ruby, turning heel and reuniting with Conti in the process. Jay then retrieved the key and she proceeded to lower the shark cage and help the Jericho Appreciation Society escape.

Jay does have history with Tay Conti in AEW and they were previously tag team partners from the summer of 2020 until Tay became more involved with Sammy Guevara's programmes earlier this year.

After Jay and Conti helped JAS escape, a brawl broke out between them and Blackpool Combat Club. Sammy Guevara was nowhere to be seen, however, and he ultimately helped Chris Jericho pick up the win, first saving Le Champion from a Stretch Plum before he threw Eddie Kingston straight into a Judas Effect.
