Jungle Boy Returns At AEW Fyter Fest Week Two

Jungle Boy is back!

For the first time in over a month, Jungle Boy was back on AEW TV following his return on Wednesday's special Fyter Fest edition of Dynamite from Duluth, Georgia.

The former AEW World Tag Team Champion's former friends in Christian Cage and Luchasaurus were in action at Fyter Fest and they picked up the win over The Varsity Blonds. The heels continued to attack their opponents after the match but they soon stopped after 'Tarzan Boy' filled the arena and Jungle Boy appeared on the ramp with a steel chair.

Luchasaurus left the ring and initially blocked Jungle Boy's path until the dinosaur moved out of his former tag team partner's way as a fearful Christian Cage questioned what he was doing. Jungle Boy then chased Christian until the former IMPACT World Champion managed to escape through the crowd.

Jungle Boy had been off TV since he and Luchasaurus dropped the AEW World Tag Team Championships to The Young Bucks on the June 15 episode of Dynamite. Christian Cage turned on Jungle Boy after the match, levelling him with a Con-Chair-To. The 25-year-old had also been dealing with a shoulder injury in recent weeks.

During Jungle Boy's absence, Christian Cage continued to insult his family, even bringing up the young star's deceased father, and Captain Charisma managed to convince Luchasaurus to align with him. Although that alliance now looks to be over.
