Anthony Bowens wants a five second scissor with Edge
It is no secret that Hall of Famer Edge’s WWE career is winding down, with 2023 thought to perhaps be the year he has his final match in the promotion, but there is still a question of whether he potentially goes elsewhere before hanging up the boots, as a reunion with Christian Cage in AEW is certainly a possibility. Someone that would like to see Edge in AEW is Anthony Bowens of The Acclaimed.
When speaking on 101.9 KISS FM, the former AEW World Tag Team Champion talked about Edge and Christian as being up there with his all time favourite tag team of all time. When he was asked about who he would like to see brought into the fold in AEW, Edge’s name came up for a second time.
"Considering I just said Edge & Christian, I think Edge. I would love to see Edge come over and re-unite with Christian. Let's have a feud forever. Five-second scissor."
What exactly a “five-second scissor” would entail is probably best left up to the imagination.
