Anthony Joshua: "I'm Gonna Do WWE Because That's What Muhammad Ali Done"

Could we see Anthony Joshua in a WWE ring?

During a recent interview with Alternative Sport, Anthony Joshua teased a future career in WWE after he's finished with boxing.

When asked if he was a better UFC fighter or WWE Superstar, the heavyweight boxing champion said: "I'm gonna do WWE because that's what Muhammad Ali done. So I'm gonna do WWE."

Joshua even revealed he would use either Stormzy's Shut up or Push It To The Limit from Scarface as his WWE entrance music.

Joshua wouldn't be the first boxer to enter a professional wrestling ring. His future opponent Tyson Fury defeated Braun Strowman by count-out at WWE Crown Jewel 2019 and former Heavyweight Boxing Champion Mike Tyson is a WWE Hall Of Famer, having made special appearances in the company over the years.

The man Joshua mentioned, Muhammad Ali, famously faced Antonio Inoki in an exhibition fight at the Nippon Budokan in 1976. He would return to pro wrestling nine years later as the special guest referee for the main event of the first WrestleMania and was later a guest of honour at Collision In Korea in 1995.
