Arn Anderson Reunites With Cody Rhodes At WWE SummerSlam 2024

There was a reunion ahead of the main event of WWE SummerSlam as Cody Rhodes met Arn Anderson as the 'American Nightmare' made his way to the ring for his Bloodline Rules Match against Solo Sikoa. 

Cody walked to the ring with his dog, Pharaoh, and bumped into Arn, with 'The Enforcer' telling Cody he would have friends both in reality and symbolically on his side at SummerSlam against Solo Sikoa. Which friends Arn Anderson meant were not revealed immediately but Anderson did point to the sky. 

Cody then left Arn, leaving him backstage. Whether this was just planned to be a one-night reunion as part of a nice moment for both men is unknown. 

Cody Rhodes and Arn Anderson were linked in All Elite Wrestling, with Anderson making his AEW debut at All Out 2019 to help Cody Rhodes defeat Shawn Spears. The WWE Hall of Famer then signed with AEW later in the year, becoming Cody Rhodes' on-screen head coach until Cody's exit in February 2022. The two were featured in many memorable moments, including Anderson's famous 'Glock' promo. 

Anderson remained with AEW until May 2024 when his contract expired. Arn noted he was primarily focused on assisting his son Brock's pro wrestling career but he didn't rule out a reunion with Cody if someone had a "good idea."
