Arn Anderson: Tony Khan Is Happy For Cody Rhodes

Tony Khan is happy for Cody Rhodes according to Arn Anderson

When Cody Rhodes sensationally departed All Elite Wrestling to return to WWE, internet rumours suggested that Rhodes and AEW President Tony Khan had suffered some sort of breakdown in their relationship.

To this day, Rhodes says his decision to leave AEW was based on personal reasons, and according to Arn Anderson, Khan is happy for Rhodes’ success in WWE:

"We're all happy [for Cody]," Anderson said on the ARN podcast. "I think right up to [AEW President] Tony Khan is happy for Cody's success. He had some very, very kind words [for me in the documentary], and we're still friends today. Obviously, much respect for him, and it's good."

Anderson was Rhodes’ on-screen manager during his AEW run, and ‘The Enforcer’ is still part of AEW, working as a backstage coach, as well as providing managerial assistance to Wardlow and son Brock Anderson:

"Anybody that wants help in an unofficial capacity, I'll help them," Anderson said. "I'm available to anybody that would like to sit down. Will Hobbs, I know I mentioned him quite a bit, he's one guy that has pulled me aside [asking], 'What do you think of this? What do you think of that?' And I give him my honest opinion. I'm a big fan of his. He's going to be a big star. He's one of the guys that ask for help for sure."
