Athena Vs. Billie Starkz To Main Event ROH Final Battle 2024

Ring of Honor returns to the Hammerstein Ballroom for Final Battle on December 20, and the main event for the show has been confirmed.

The legendary indie has ran the Hammerstein on many occasions throughout their history, but for the first time a women’s division match will close out the Hammerstein, with ROH Women’s World Champion Athena set to put the title on the line against protege/minion Billie Starkz.

The two previously clashed for the title at Final Battle 2023, with Athena getting the victory on the night. But what difference does a year make, and can Billie end the ‘Fallen Goddess’ two year plus title reign?

Athena revealed the news to Denise Salcedo, saying:

“We will be the first women to main event in Hammerstein as far as I know, as far as Ring of Honor goes, anyway,” Athena said.

“I’m the first and only women’s main event within Ring of Honor on a pay-per-view so it’s it’s really cool to just get another notch on the belt of history,” Athena continued.
