Aussie Open Not Under Contract With NJPW

Aussie Open haven't signed with NJPW

Aussie Open were one of New Japan Pro-Wrestling's top tag teams in 2022 but that doesn't mean Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis are signed with the promotion.

Taking to Twitter, Mark Davis revealed that not only are Aussie Open not signed but they don't have any confirmed tag team bookings on the horizon.

"The last time i saw Kyle was the morning our flight landed after world tag league. aussie open have no contracted deals. aussie open have no confirmed tag bookings. sometimes you can put everything you have into something. sometimes it's not enough," Davis tweeted.

Aussie Open had a successful 2022 in NJPW. They were the inaugural STRONG Openweight Tag Team Champions, holding the belts for 96 days before they dropped the titles to Motor City Machine Guns. They also made it to the final of World Tag League before losing to Bishamon and the team unsuccessfully challenged FTR for the IWGP Tag Team Titles at Royal Quest II.

Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis are set to return to NJPW for the New Japan Cup that will run from March 5 until March 21. Fletcher will take on YOSHI-HASHI in the first round while Mark Davis will face Toru Yano.
