Austin Theory Reportedly Backstage at This Week's WWE Raw

WWE NXT superstar Austin Theory was reportedly backstage at the September 13 episode of Monday Night Raw.
Theory has made a home for himself back on NXT, returning to WWE's third brand in August 2020 and aligning with Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell in The Way. The 24-year-old, however, had not been seen on NXT in a couple of weeks, returning for Hartwell's wedding to Dexter Lumis on the September 14 show.
According to PWInsider, Theory was backstage at the September 13 episode of Raw. Theory has been working a lot of dark matches and bouts on WWE Main Event in recent weeks, helping to show off the talents of individuals such as Ridge Holland, Keith Lee, Odyssey Jones and, most recently, Von Wagner ahead of Raw and SmackDown tapings.
It is possible that Theory's appearance backstage at Raw was in case he was required for such an outing again. Theory was a member of the Raw roster in 2020, first aligning with Zelina Vega and Angel Garza before becoming one of Seth Rollins' disciples later in the year.
Theory's alliance with Rollins came to an end in July 2020, with the youngster returning to NXT a month later.
