Avery Styles signs for TNA

TNA Wrestling recently held tapings for episodes of IMPACT at the Dothan Civic Center in Dothan, Alabama across October 13 and 14, in which The Hardys had full creative control. Unfortunately, several wrestlers emerged from the tapings worse for wear, one of those being the new up-and-comer Avery Styles.

According to a report from Fightful Select, the son of Hall Of Famer AJ Styles was seen sporting a walking boot in the aftermath of TNA’s IMPACT tapings, suggesting that an injury may have been suffered.

During the tapings, Avery Styles (accompanied by Frankie Kazarian) defeated Joe Alonzo, where it was noted that Styles hit a perfect Spiral Tap for the pinfall and win. Later in the tapings, Styles accompanied Kazarian to a match with Mustafa Ali, though he was attacked at ringside by Ali. Styles attempted to go after Ali, only to be stopped by Kazarian, ultimately costing him the match.

Styles signed with TNA back in August on the back of an appearance at the TNA Lockdown event, shortly following several weeks of being at the centre of a controversy in which he was accused of not helping out at an independent event.
